Location
Sunset Beach Studios is located in the northwest of Aruba, 35 metres (100 ft) from the Caribbean sea and 1.5 km (1 mile) above the High Rise hotelarea.
Airport | From Reina Beatrix to Sunset Beach Studios it is about 25 minutes by car, depending on the amount of traffic. If you desire a rental car (which is recommended here in Aruba), please let us know so we can assist you in renting one. The car will be ready for you at the airport when you arrive.
Oranjestad | Oranjestad is the capital and commercial center of Aruba. It is 10 to 15 minutes driving by car from Sunset Beach Studios. When you’ll pass the supermarkets, drive straight on till you get downtown or just follow the signs.
Beaches | The beach opposite our studios is a beautiful place for snorkeling. For swimming and sunbathing we recommend Boca Catalina or Palm Beach, which are both very close to Sunset Beach Studios.
Supermarkets | Super Food, Ling & Sons, Kong Hing and Certified are large supermarkets close to each other on the L.G. Smith Blvd. on the way to Oranjestad. Between them they have most of the usual American and European brands. It is about a 10 minutes drive by car from Sunset Beach Studios.
Restaurants | Whatever your preference is, you’re sure to find a large variety of cuisine on Aruba. The nearest restaurants are situated in the High-Rise area. Our employees can give you some good recommendations and can also make dinner reservations for you.
Bus service | We are situated only 15 meters (50 ft.) from Aruba’s inexpensive (US$ 2,- roundtrip), frequent (every 30 min.) bus service to Oranjestad.
